The Rural Estates team has a well-established reputation for advising on a wide range of land and property needs. The team acted on the biggest English farmland transaction in 2022 and in the same year transacted over £200 million of farms and estates.
They offer a forward-looking approach that understands the interplay between family and business wealth. Their clients include long-established land-owning families, through to institutions and enterprising individuals who own high-value land and property portfolios both in the UK and overseas.
With years of experience advising farmers and landowners, they have extensive understanding of the issues faced by the rural community and food industry. Unlike many other firms, the team also has specialised experience with the technical issues that concern rural landlords and tenants, such as complex agricultural tenancies, farming partnerships, surrenders, re-grants and restructuring.
