Workplace Mediation

Our CEDR accredited mediators can help you manage workplace disputes

Many issues arise in employment relationships which can be difficult to resolve.  These issues may be between an employee and an employer or between peers or colleagues. Workplace mediation offers the opportunity for parties to discuss any issues openly and honestly under the protection of a confidential and 'without prejudice' process. This can be invaluable in avoiding parties' positions becoming entrenched.

Our CEDR accredited meditators help clients resolve disputes within the workplace, assisting the parties to find a solution to enable them to resolve those issues and continue a working relationship. Where a continuation of the relationship is not possible, mediation at an early stage offers the possibility of agreeing the terms of an exit and avoiding escalation to litigation. There is no limit to the number of parties that can be involved in a mediation.

Independent mediators can encourage an open and honest approach to discussions, provide the reassurance of a reliable and confidential process and, consequently, offer a greater chance of a resolution.

If you would like more information on workplace mediation, or to discuss a situation that you feel mediation may assist in, please contact Åsa Waring.
