Anne Rose, Associate in the Commercial team and Co-Lead of our Blockchain Group, has been shortlisted in the Rising Stars' legal category of WeAreTheCity's Rising Stars 2020 Awards.
Anne founded a sub-working group of Tech London Advocates Blockchain, focused on legal and regulatory matters which is supported by the Law Society, is a director of thinkBlocktank, a member of APPG Blockchain, and has been nominated for a number of other awards, including most influential woman in tech by Computer Weekly and was shortlisted for WeAreTechWomen's TechWomen100 Award in 2019.
Sponsored by The Times and the Sunday Times, the Rising Star Awards were launched to showcase female talent below management level who are role models in their industry. The legal category is named after late Reed Smith partner Lynne Freeman in memory of her commitment to gender-balance efforts at the firm and across the City. This elite shortlist was narrowed down to just 10 candidates in each category from hundreds of nominated women across the UK. Voting closes on 1 May 2020 and the winners will be announced on 11 May 2020.
