Partner Ben Brandon spoke with Times Radio about the Ukraine Justice Alliance - a coalition of lawyers, law firms and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), including Mishcon de Reya, that have formed an alliance to support Ukrainians in response to the catastrophic invasion of Ukraine.
During the interview, Ben discussed the positive action the Alliance aims to take to help the short- and long- term needs of Ukraine, as conflict continues.
Ben explained: “International law aspires to justice – and that is what we are seeking through the Ukraine Justice Alliance. What we want to try and do is to act now, so that the mechanisms are put in place among States or at intergovernmental level so that what has been frozen can in due course be made available to Ukraine and its people who have suffered so much in this conflict already.”
