Mishcon de Reya LLP hosted the first event in its Family Wealth series in its Singapore office on 18 May 2023.
Alongside its Singapore Private Wealth team, headed by Managing Associates Stephanie Lim Pierce and Vincent Sim, Alistair Morgan (MDR Mayfair Group Chief Executive Officer) and Robbie Cowan (MDR Mayfair Principal Advisor) shared their experiences of helping families navigate the challenges faced by family businesses and family offices.
Through a discussion of the key issues and case studies, the attendees highlighted the importance of taking a proactive approach with regard to how families work together and how their affairs are properly managed. A proactive approach not only mitigates the risks associated with significant wealth, it also optimises the possibility for the successful transfer of family values and wealth to future generations.
It was a well-received event with attendees looking forward to future events in this Family Wealth series.
