The White Collar Crime and Investigations team represented Cansun Güralp, the founder and former executive of the seismology company Güralp Systems Ltd, who was acquitted last week of conspiracy to make corrupt payments to win contracts in South Korea. The trial was brought by the Serious Fraud Office and lasted two months.
Speaking to Global Investigations Review, who reported on the trial, Matthew Ewens said
“We are very glad that the right result has been reached and that Dr Güralp can now put this period of his life behind him and concentrate on his work.”
