Since Forstater established that gender critical beliefs are protected under s.10 of the Equality Act 2010 (i.e. the belief that biological sex is real, important and immutable and not to be conflated with gender identity), there has been a series of successful claims for discrimination by gender critical claimants: Forstater itself, Bailey and Fahmy. January saw the publication of two further judgments that continued this trend: Meade and Phoenix.
