Mishcon de Reya's private equity team has advised Allata, a portfolio company of CIVC Partners, on its acquisition of Imriel Limited a software, database and digital solutions company. The transaction involved the acquisition of targets in both UK and India.

The acquisition will strengthen Allata and IMRIEL's existing relationship, enhancing Allata's service offerings, expanding its global market reach, and delivering even greater value to its clients.
The Mishcon team was led by Kevin McCarthy who was assisted by Karine Bashardust and Martyna Dudek from the Private Equity team, John Skoulding and Stephen Elhabbal from the Corporate Tax Team supported by Eve Drysdale and Stuart Hayward, Sharon Tan and Chris Morgan from the Employment team, Zoe Albon and Dominic Walsh from the Intellectual Property team and Adam Rose and Oliver Millichap from the Commercial team.
The Mishcon team worked closely with Khaitan & Co led by Kartikeya Prakash, who assisted on Indian aspects of the deal.
The transaction is the latest in a series of deals completed by the Mishcon Corporate team advising clients active in the Innovation Economy and, in particular, in the AI and technology sectors.
