George Robinson is the founding partner of Oxford Investment Consultants (OIC), an investment firm advising on early-stage ventures emerging from Oxford and other UK universities. Since OIC’s founding in 2015, the firm has invested over £70 million in 35 companies, with a focus on technology and biotech spinouts. George has also been a founding investor and former board member of companies such as Immunocore, and he co-founded Technicos, a private equity partnership supporting spinouts from Oxford’s Institute of Biomedical Engineering.
Before founding OIC, George launched the investment management firm Sloan Robinson, specialising in global listed equities, with a focus on Asian and emerging markets. He has 15 years of experience working in Asia, including roles with John Swire & Sons and as Director of Regional Research for stockbroker W.I. Carr. George is an Honorary Fellow of Keble College, Oxford, and a former member of Oxford University’s Endowment Investment Committee.
