Welcome to the latest edition of Brand Matters.
Following the recent news of the launch of our Innovation department, this edition has a focus on some of the legal issues arising in relation to developing technologies and business models - including NFTs, AI, and 'buy-now-pay-later' services – as well as some key recent decisions focusing on issues relating to trade marks, copyright and designs such as the Monopoly case.
As we slowly move out of lock-down in the UK, it will be interesting to see how businesses leverage their experiences over this period to drive future growth and we look forward to reporting on this in future issues.
