Conor is a Managing Associate and Chartered (UK) and European Patent Attorney in the Intellectual Property Group.
A large portion of Conor's work comprises drafting patent applications for his clients and prosecuting those applications to grant across the world, with particular experience in Europe, UK, USA, China, Korea, Japan, Norway, Mexico, Brazil and the Middle East.
Conor also acts for clients in post-grant proceedings, particularly in Opposition and Opposition Appeal proceedings before the EPO.
Conor also provides infringement and validity advice, and has been involved in a number of freedom to operate exercises.
In addition, Conor acts as an IP adviser and strategist for his clients; helping clients develop an IP strategy married with their commercial goals and aiding in enacting that strategy.
Conor also handles a reasonable amount of registered design work for his clients.
Conor has experience working across a broad range of technology areas, primarily in the fields of Physics, Software/AI and Engineering. For example, Conor's work has related to oil and gas production, biometric authentication systems, solid state joining processes, food and drink dispensing systems, AI and machine learning, HVAC systems, fire and security systems, and transport refrigeration systems.
Conor is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and is also a member of the European Patent Institute.
