Eloise Harding is a Partner in the Intellectual Property department, specialising in brand protection.
She provides strategic IP advice on trade marks, passing off, copyright and designs. Her practice encompasses clearance, filing, monitoring, portfolio strategy, enforcement and disputes.
Eloise specialises in trade mark disputes in particular, and she has significant experience of managing trade mark proceedings before the UKIPO and EUIPO. She has particular expertise in the field of bad faith and the impact of evolving case law on trade mark filing strategy, having been significantly involved in the Sky v Skykick dispute (among others).
Eloise leads the firm's Beauty sector group and is editor of the Beauty Watch publication. She also works with clients across a number of industries including retail (particularly fashion), automotive, media and entertainment, hospitality, life sciences and finance. She acts for brands at all stages, from creation through to global corporates.
Eloise has in-house experience at Burberry and NBC Universal.
Eloise was recognised as a Rising Star in the IP Stars awards in 2022, 2023 and 2024 and was recognised as a 'key lawyer' in the Legal 500 2024.
