His expertise spans from venture capital, including SEIS, EIS and share equity schemes, to general corporate matters such as share acquisitions and shareholder agreements. James's expertise and pragmatism is recognised in legal directories, such as the Legal 500.
Keen to play his part in addressing climate change and boosting the cleantech sector, James has advised multi-million pound investment rounds for companies in the renewable energy sector. James plays a major role in the clients' growth journey and has been described as "our super star lawyer".
James was part of the government's legal team on the Leveson inquiry, was previously at Ashfords and graduated with a masters from UCL in international commercial law.
