Adam said “Health and safety law applies as much to people who are working from home, as it does to those who are working in an office.”
Adam explained the complications that can evolve from people working from home, including if people work from different countries. He said “If somebody is working abroad in another country are they effectively creating for tax purposes a permanent establishment in that other country which would raise corporate tax issues potentially for the employer? All these sorts of things are hugely complicated.”
