Eprivateclient wrote a piece on impact investing and ESG, and how private clients can re-focus their investments to make a positive difference.
Angeli Arora, Corporate Partner, was interviewed on the changing habits of investors, and explained that many of them now consider the ESG performance of a business to be a key factor before opting to invest.
She commented: "In my view, there is a growing trend to invest in companies which duly incorporate ESG factors into their business because of the growing evidence that good ESG performance improves long-term value. In other words, whilst investors may have different investment strategies, such as investing in private equity or public securities, they will seek out companies within that strategy with strong ESG performance."
