George Irving has contributed to an ePrivateClient article about the range of legal services and advice LGBTQIA+ private clients may find themselves seeking during their lifetime.
While not everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community will have the same needs, many people have shared experiences, and face similar challenges concerning major life decisions, such as starting a family or managing their finances.
In the article, George comments on the issues associated with parenting agreements, which set out how decisions are made between people who share parental responsibility.
He explains that “a number of such arrangements result in dispute or litigation. There has therefore been a rise in litigation between LGBTQIA+ parents, with the courts required to step in to determine the best interests of the child.”
