Mishcon de Reya is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Sharpe, who today joins the Firm as a Partner in the Employment Department. Neil will be part of the Incentives & Remuneration team, advising on strategic remuneration, governance and regulatory issues.
Neil is a senior lawyer with over 25 years' experience advising on the design, implementation and compliance of all types of incentive arrangements ranging from private company incentives such as management incentive plans through to global all-employee share plans of listed companies.
Neil was previously a Consultant at Linklaters, Principal at Aon Hewitt and a Partner at New Bridge Street Consultants. He has advised companies in many sectors including banking, insurance and other financial services, retail, hi tech, life sciences, support services and construction, at all stages of development from start-ups to leading global companies.
The Incentives & Remuneration practice is in its fifth year and since inception has doubled in size. The practice focusses on understanding clients' businesses and designing and implementing bespoke remuneration and employee incentive plans. The team works with businesses of all sizes, from the largest FTSE-listed global organisations to smaller, high-growth entrepreneurial businesses or private, equity-backed companies, often in regulated markets.
