Mishcon de Reya has expanded its financial services offering with the appointment of Steven Haywood, a partner specialising in investment funds. He joined the team's London office in September.
Steven has extensive experience in advising on a broad spectrum of alternative asset managers, from first-time venture capital managers to global multi-strategy managers, on the structuring and formation of private investment funds across a range of different strategies, including venture capital, private equity and private equity secondaries funds, direct lending and credit funds, as well as on infrastructure, real estate, healthcare and impact finance funds. His experience also includes advising institutional investors on private fund investments, including the sale of portfolios of fund interests, secondary market deals, and co-investments. Steven has also gained considerable practical industry experience from his time working within the alternatives asset management division of a leading global investment bank.
