Led by immigration specialists from our Sports Group, the first part of this lecture provides an overview of the sports immigration framework post-Brexit, and explores the impact of COVID-19 (including quarantine regimes and travel restrictions) on sport. It also takes a look at the different immigration routes available to sports persons.
During the second part of the session, Senior Football Intermediary, Charlie McNicholas provides a practical perspective of how immigration works in the context of transfers and scouting, and how immigration issues influence decisions at the top of the football pyramid.
