Bringing almost 20 years' experience as a sustainability writer and consultant, Dan is part of the Mishcon Purpose team in the Impact department, where he acts as the firm's Sustainable Business Knowledge Lead.
A firm believer in the aphorism that there can be no such thing as a sustainable enterprise in an unsustainable system, he has spent much of the last decade seeking to illuminate the mindset and business model shifts needed to survive and thrive in era defined by the worsening impacts of ecological breakdown.
Both internally and externally, he advises on the scale of these impacts and their implications – from the rapidly evolving landscape of sustainability-related regulation and changing perspectives on fiduciary duty, to the emergence of 'post-growth' and regenerative business models.
Dan is a graduate of Edinburgh University and Ashridge Business School, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and the author of 'Live Long and Prosper: The 55-Minute Guide to Building Sustainable Brands'.
