Elyssia is an Associate in the Intellectual Property Disputes team in the Innovation Department.
With over 8 years' experience in dispute resolution, Elyssia advises clients on disputes involving all manner of IP rights, including trade marks, passing off, copyright, designs, patents, domain names and confidential information. She also has experience dealing with non-contentious IP matters, including brand protection and advertising clearance.
Elyssia has represented clients before the Intellectual Property Enterprise, High Court and the Court of Appeal. She advises clients across a variety of sectors but has particular experience with clients in the media and entertainment, sports and retail sectors.
Elyssia has in-house experience from her time at Warner Bros, as a trainee, and she completed the PG Diploma in IP Law and Practice at the University of Oxford in 2022.

- Acting for 2 different restaurant chains in claiming trade mark infringement and successfully securing rebrands from the other side.
- Acting on an appeal to the Court of Appeal relating to trade mark infringement.
- Acting for a social media company on matters relating to defamation, privacy, malicious falsehood and contempt of court issues.
- Lead associate acting for a global retailer on a number of disputes relating to IP licensing and shareholder arrangements.
