Katie is Of Counsel in the Employment Group, with over 13 years' experience. She advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. Bringing a commercial and practical approach to employment issues faced by clients, Katie supports both employers and employees on all issues arising in the workplace.
Having worked on a number of high value and complex injunctions and speedy trials, Katie is known for her expertise in High Court litigation, particularly in relation to team moves, enforcing restrictive covenants and the misuse and protection of confidential information.
Katie supports clients across multiple business sectors including financial services, insurance (brokers and underwriters), telecommunications, media, tech and fintech. Her corporate clients range from well known global brands and internationally listed organisations to start-ups, partnerships and LLPs.
Katie also regularly acts for senior executives (including C-suite) and employees.
Katie is also a guest lecturer at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Katie is ranked as a Notable Practitioner and as a "Rising Star" in the Legal 500 and as an "Associate to watch" in Chambers and Partners.

- Guy Carpenter & Co Limited and others v Howden Insurance Brokers Limited and others – Acting for Massimo Reina and Sebastian Cook in defending a multimillion pound High Court conspiracy claim following their departure from Guy Carpenter's Continental Europe Reinsurance team to Howden.
- Alesco and Gallaghers v Ardonagh and others – Damages claim brought by a leading insurance broker in the High Court in respect of claims of an alleged unlawful team move and an alleged unlawful means conspiracy.
- Guy Carpenter & Co Limited and others v Howden Insurance Brokers Limited and others – Acting for Bradley Maltese in defending a multimillion pound conspiracy claim brought in the High Court following his departure (and several others' departures) from the Guy Carpenter Global Specialties team to Howden
- Investec v Muzinich and others – Claim brought by a leading investment bank against an asset management company and five named employees in the High Court (initially with an injunction application for springboard relief) in relation to an alleged unlawful team move and an unlawful means conspiracy.

This case involved imprisonment for one of the defendants who was found in contempt of court for breach of the interim injunction made by the court in respect of the confidential information order.
