Ex-professional cricketer Azeem Rafiq has welcomed and accepted an apology from his former team-mate, Gary Ballance, for the use of "racist" language during their time playing for Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
Azeem has thanked Gary for the apology, adding that "he has done cricket and the fight against racism a great service with these words."
Partner Sonia Campbell and Managing Associate Harry Eccles-Williams have been acting for Azeem in connection with the ECB's proceedings.
