Partner David Leibowitz and Managing Associate Laura Edwards in the Insolvency Team have written an article for Insolvency Intelligence. They discuss the recent decided case of PJSC Uralkali v Rowley which saw Uralkali make a range of claims against both administrators following its failure to buy the Force India team from administrators FRP Advisory LLP.
"After a 10-day trial, every one of the claims was dismissed. The court considered that the administrators conducted the administration thoroughly professionally throughout. The decision does not break new ground but there are aspects of the judgement which administrators will find very useful in fending off future claims."
