Join us for our Mishcon Academy Digital Session on the end of the Brexit transition period and the implications for data protection.
The debate continues over international data flows and the fallout from the Schrems II decision, against the backdrop of waiting to see if the EU Commission will grant the UK an adequacy decision. Data transfers, of course, are not the only Brexit / data protection issue - businesses will need to ensure also that they are ready to comply with both the EU, and UK, data protection regimes on 1 January 2021. They will need to assess the impact on their operations and agreements, and consider how to manage any data breach situations. Our data protection specialists will explore these issues in a panel discussion, offering practical and timely guidance.
This live session will be chaired by Nina O'Sullivan, Legal Director, at Mishcon de Reya LLP, panellists include:
- Adam Rose, Partner, Mishcon de Reya LLP
- Mark Deem, Partner, Mishcon de Reya LLP
- Jon Baines, Senior Data Protection Specialist, Mishcon de Reya LLP
