Mark is Of Counsel in the Employment Department. He acts for employers and employees in contentious and non-contentious aspects of employment law. Mark has experience of both High Court and Employment Tribunal litigation and has acted on applications for injunctive relief concerning breach of restrictive covenants and misuse of confidential information, claims for breach of contract and matters concerning terminations, unfair dismissal, redundancies, discrimination and settlement agreements.

- Advised an individual broker on injunctive proceedings concerning post-termination restrictive covenants and alleged breaches of confidential information arising out of a team move from one employer to a market competitor.
- Advised a CEO of an international manufacturing company on a claim for breach of contract for circa £7 million and defending counterclaims for breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty amounting to circa £25 million.
- Advised in defending claims made by a former executive for sex discrimination, victimisation and unfair dismissal.
- Advised an asset management company in defending claims for constructive unfair dismissal and discrimination.
