Antonia Cosby is an Associate in the Residential team in the Private Client department, specialising in advising clients on buying large rural estates, which frequently combine residential, rural and commercial property matters.
She acts for individuals, trustees and partnerships whether they are buying a freehold or leasehold property in London in or in the countryside. She is experienced in particular with purchases of sizeable estates, advising on the status of farming tenancies and resolving easement concerns, as well as dealing with sporting, fishing and equine matters. Antonia also advises clients on matters which arise during their ownership of properties, such as overage and development concerns and mortgage or refinancing work.

- Acting for clients buying listed buildings and estates with 2000 acres plus of farm or parkland.
- Dealing with promotion agreements, option agreements and pre-emption agreements.
- Purchasing properties in tight timeframes, including purchasing a £4m house from offer to completion in four days.
- Advising on residential tenancies, VAT, SDLT and first and third party mortgages.
