Adam Rose, Commercial and Data Protection Partner in the Innovation Department, was interviewed for The Times' 'Lawyer of the Week'.
Adam was featured after acting pro bono, along with Adam Wagner, barrister at Doughty Street Chambers, for all of British families whose relatives were held hostage in Gaza.
Adam discussed his career – including the best advice he has received, the best and worst elements of being a lawyer, and who he admires most in the law – as well as the work itself.
Discussing the biggest hurdles to be overcome in the case, he said: "The first was working out which were British or very closely connected to the UK and how to get the UK government to agree to offer consular support, or equivalent, for them all, which we did after an approach by Richard Ratcliffe, the husband of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, whose advice was to “try lots of things”, as you never know what will work, and to go public with a campaign.”
