Neil is a Partner in Mishcon Private, specialising in business immigration law.
Neil was promoted to partner in 2024 and regularly works on complex and demanding immigration cases.
Neil provides comprehensive advice on business immigration matters for both employers and employees including applications for Sponsor Licences, Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, Global Talent, TUPE undertakings, liquidation, and M&A deals. He works closely with our corporate and employment experts, and addresses employment changes, tax issues, and immigration due diligence for corporate transactions and restructurings valued from hundreds of thousands to multi-billion pounds.
He has a strong focus on guiding employers through the raft of sponsorship general compliance issues and Home Office audits. Neil is also a keen expert on Right to Work requirements and is regularly invited as a speaker to panel discussions on these topics.
Neil has specialised expertise working within the financial services sector, having represented leading US investment banks, private equity firms and Fintech clients for many years. Also, being very 'deal focused' in his work, Neil is closely engaged with clients and colleagues upon large cap value corporate M&A transactions, often working alongside large US law firms, specifically advising upon immigration governance, due diligence, C-suite immigration issues and compliance issues.
Neil has an established understanding of working with clients in the Asian markets, having spent two years working across China, Nepal and India advising on private and corporate UK immigration matters.
