Dan is Of Counsel in Mishcon Private, specialising in all areas of Family law. He is an accredited Resolution Specialist in complex financial remedies and private children law.
Whilst Dan works on matters involving all aspects of contentious and non-contentious family law, including cases with an international element, he has particular expertise in complex financial remedy cases and private children matters (including domestic and international relocation, education issues, living arrangements and paternity). He also has particular experience with litigating cases where "conduct" and "add back" are central aspects in a matter and has significant experience with cases involving a wide range of addictions and certain mental health issues. His emotional intelligence is of great value in matters which are sensitive and / or involve complex fact patterns.
In addition, Dan has previously been involved in a variety of cases involving issues such as substantial family wealth, gender discrimination in financial remedy proceedings, relationship generated financial disadvantage, personal injunctions and the validity of Pre-Nuptial Agreements. He has also written legal opinions in respect of international wealth protection and the validity of a marriage.
Dan is a keen advocate and practitioner of Arbitration via the IFLA scheme in financial remedy matters and is a former member of Resolution's London Regional Committee.
