    Nicholas Dean, 55, has been in the yacht brokering industry for over 30 years. He grew up in southern England and his love for sailing dinghies developed at an early age. His first job was at the harbour at Brighton Marina. Three months after joining the Marina, Nicholas was approached to start a yacht brokerage company, and at age 19 he sold his first yacht.

She founded the company with her husband Clive Humby in their back bedroom in 1989 and by the time they stepped back from the business in 2011, it had grown to an organisation of 1,500 people, reaching 350 million customers in 25 countries.
