    Sarah Wood is Co-founder and COO of marketing technology company, Unruly, where she ensures that the company delivers the most awesome social video campaigns on the planet. Sarah has been voted UK Female Entrepreneur of the Year by the Growing Business Awards, one of 15 Women to Watch in Tech by Inc., one of 10 London-Based Entrepreneurs to Watch by Forbes and a Rising Star in Computer Weekly’s Most Influential Women in UK IT. Sarah is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Cambridge, where she teaches a course in “Mash-Ups, Memes and LOLitics: Online Video Culture and the Screen Media Revolution” for the Screen Media and Cultures MPhil . She has been a member of Social Media Week’s Global Advisory Board since 2011 and is part of the Gazelle Group of Entrepreneurs, helping to foster a new generation of entrepreneurs. When she’s not working, Sarah spends way too much time on the Viral Video Chart, watching clips of kittehs* with her kids. *Kittehs is l33t speak for kittens. It's a deliberate, playful misspelling used extensively by the LOLcats meme, much as "teh" was used instead of "the" in the early noughties"

  • Jillian Maclean MBE Drake & Morgan

    Jillian MacLean leads the bold and innovative start-up company, Drake & Morgan. Established in February 2008, Drake & Morgan consists of six large-scale bar and restaurants in the capital, with plans to open a new site in early 2014. Despite opening in the height of a recession, Jillian’s hard-working ethos combined with her focus on delivering excellent customer service has seen Drake & Morgan emerge as one of London’s leading bar and restaurant groups, with sales now in excess of £16 million, which saw it ranked 6th fastest growing company in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100. Drake & Morgan’s first venue, the refinery, opened in September 2008 in Southwark in the landmark Blue Fin Building, their second site, the parlour, opened in October 2009 in Canary Wharf, site number three, The Anthologist, opened on Gresham Street in the City in April 2010 and site four, The Folly, opened on Gracechurch Street in November 2010. The Drift opened in Heron Tower on Bishopsgate in July 2011 followed by the most recent opening in St Paul’s, the happenstance, which opened its doors in June 2013. A seventh site is due to open in early 2014.
